The Contractor Loan Fund is a coalition of local governments, non-profit organizations, and small to large private sector businesses committed to build a more inclusive region. CLF partners have pooled their financial and technical business resources to make construction and expansion loans to minority and women owned businesses to facilitate their greater participation in construction projects throughout the region. If you are a City of St. Louis certified M/WBE, consider whether a CLF loan is right for you. Together we can build a strong St. Louis!

The History of the contractor loan fund

In April 2013, a small group of individuals met for breakfast to discuss development of a revolving loan fund that would provide capital to M/WBE construction companies, thereby assisting them to secure more business and grow their companies. Over the next two years the group grew to include senior representatives from the public, non-profit and corporate sectors. The working group that developed the CLF includes:
